5x World Champion “Fernando Terere” Limited Edition Hoodie
My Brother’s Keeper Hoodie from Fernando Terere
5x World Champion Fernando Terere was the first African American to descend from the favelas and make his name on the mats. While many athletes have used their success to relocate to safer communities (often in different countries) Fernando has stayed rooted in the Cantagalo Favela where is was born and raised.
Since 2000 he has been running social programs that bring recreational and cultural activities to the kids from the Cantalogalo, Pavao, Pavaozinho communities.
Culture and Community are two elements of Jiu-Jitsu culture that are the heart and soul of the sport, and social projects like Terere Kids Project help spread that message.
Designed especially for Jiu-Jitsu fans, this hoodie shows that you’re a person of honor anywhere you go, and best of all, the proceeds from sales go to support an important cause!
