How many titles did you hold by the time you were 13?
Ingrid Guedes, from Top Brother BJJ in Japari has been working on earning a name for herself since she was introduced to jiu-jitsu 3 years ago. At only 13, Ingrid has claimed 3 consecutive Brazilian National titles (2017, 18, 19) and was blessed with the opportunity to travel to the U.S. and claim gold at the 2019 Pan Kids tournament this year.
“I feel in love and now jiu-jitsu is part of me,” says the young yellow belt. “Thankfully people appeared in my life that believe in me and support me.”
Ingrid has been putting in work and any and all the tournaments that she can make it to. Her goal is to become a black belt, and, within the next 5 years, transition to MMA, where she plans to claim another World title from the UFC.
